that is one of the most common questions Alcoholics ask. Short answer: because thats what alcoholics do. it's form of insanity.

Alcoholics Anonymous defines that form of insanity as:

Repeating the same actions over and over expecting different results.

Get yourself a copy of the book "Alcoholics Anonymous" written by Bill Wilson.
it explains alcoholism better than anything.

are you still drinking? (repeating the same....)???, you will get noware trying to analize it.
