If it's not too late.....
invideo = I envy, begrudge (1st pers. pres. tense of invidere = to envy, begrudge, lit. 'give the evil eye to'!)
victum = the [way of] life, life style (accusative singular of victus, -us; 4th declension noun)
silenti = lit. to the silent one, to the dead person (dative singular of present participle of silere = to be noiseless, silent i.e. dead!)Literally: 'I begrudge to the dead one his way of life.' = I envy the dead their way of life? Sounds a bit spooky.... vampires and all that sort of stuff. Ooooooooooooooooo
