In Response To: Fati i non foste a viver come bruti (kay Beckett)

The phrase from Dante Alighieri's "Inferno" is:

Considerate la vostra semenza:
fatti non foste a viver come bruti,
ma per seguir virtute e canoscenza

which roughly translated is:

Remember your roots:
show that you are made not to live as brutes
but to follow virtue and knowledge
