My mother was raised by alcoholic parents and unfortunatley had a bad marriage with my dad. After 25 years of not getting any attention my mother found a man who abuses alcohol. Not only has he abused it he has had fights with my entire family. We are slowly drifting apart. My sister recently had a fight with him and now refuses to speak to my mother and to let my mother see her daughter. I dont know what to do. I am trying to explain the similarities between my mothers mother and father and her growing up and now this man in her life. HOw do I get her to understand that this is not healthy for her? Where can I go to get my mom and outsider to speak to who has a similar situation? Please help. My mom has in the past gone thru a terrible depression and I am afraid of that for her.
Thanking you in advanc.
