This post is old so I don't know if any of you will see this but here goes.

Does anyone know the signifigance of the Red Hand on the Breen crest? Usually a symbol of the O'neill's and Ulster, is there a connection? What is it?

The O'Brien clan website has Breen as a subset of the O'Brien family. Can anyone verify and have any info on the link between the Breen's and Brian Boru and the O'Briens?

Would love to correspond with anyone doing Breen geneology.
