Hey my names Kelly and I know what your going through. I've only had OCD symptoms for about a year now but I haven't gone to see a doctor yet. I'm kinda embarrassed. I don't wash my hands alot or afarid of germs, I have more of a need to have everything organized and symettrical. I'm constantly cleaning my room and moving objects because they are not facing the right direction. I also have this weird thing that I've never heard anyone with OCD doing, I have to rip up anything I throw away in the garbage, I just can't throw it away until it's ripped up! I also do some things more then one time until it feels right, I don't have a certain number that I do things. Well anyways have you talked to a theripist because I think maybe if you go to a therpist, (which you probably have already) then maybe you won't have to go to a residential place. When I get stressed I noticed my OCD gets worse and if I went to a residential place I would get homesick and stressed therefore instead of getting better I would probably get worse. I don't know if your like that though. Well I hope you can make a decision thats good for you. If you want to talk just post another comment on here! I hope I helped you at least the slightest bit!
